I've decided I've had it with facebook. I've been on there for a few years and to be honest I have never really enjoyed it. Getting blasted by my family about my dislike of the Catholic church has finally pushed me over the edge and I'm going to cut everyone off from there. Quite frankly I never really wanted to be on facebook in the first place, my family all signed up and I decided it would be a good way to stay in touch. Sadly, I was horribly mistaken. Oh well, you live and learn I guess.
That doesn't mean that I no longer have a voice to share with the world. Indeed my webcomic fan page will remain open and with any luck, once all the craziness that has become my life as of late abates I'll be able to get back to that on a regular basis. Plus now I can focus on my badly neglected Youtube channel and start making videos for that again. I have a tumblr account but to be honest I never use that for much of anything so I will most likely delete it. Or use it to post pictures of my artwork. I don't know yet. My point is my social media presence is going to be drastically reduced everywhere but here because I no longer have the time, patience or energy to keep following all the bullshit that flies around my facebook page. I. Am. Done.
Fanime is next week and our costumes are barely finished. In fact none of them are even halfway there. Except my crossplay which to be honest I may not even wear. Well, not to the convention at least. I'd like to finish it and get some pictures taken in it. I think it's pretty bad ass. A great blend of sexiness and toughness all wrapped up in one package. Not enough of that in my honest opinion. Unless of course you read comic books which I do. :D Anyway, I digress. I get to spend pretty much the whole of this week and a good portion of next week trying to get these cosplays done. Yay for last minute cosplay work! Something tells me I will honor that time honored tradition of working on your cosplay until five a.m. the day of con. lol. The worst part of it isn't that I'm only halfway done with my wife's costume and have yet to start my daughter's. The worst part is that I have no idea what I'm going to wear other than the crossplay IF I wear that one at all as I already said. So while I'm working on the other two I need to think of a third and figure out how I'm going to get it together in time. I guess that's all part of the fun eh?
