Okay I get it, I'm not an SG or hopeful, hell I'm not even an SB but the homework sometimes intrigues me and I decide to do it anyway. Why not? I mean hell the number one goal of this site is to help people expand their creativity right?
1. I only follow two sports both of which I play. Hockey (I used to play goalie) and sports car racing (I race online occasionally). Basically if I don't like playing the sport I won't watch it. I used to watch American football, baseball and NASCAR with my dad but I haven't watched any of them since he passed away.
2. Although I've posted pictures here of me wearing women's clothing I have never worn it in public. I hope to perform some crossplay when we all go to Fanime later this year so we'll see how that goes.
3. Before I moved into the current apartment I'm in now I spent every night at home naked. I would put my daughter to bed (she was a toddler at the time), take a shower and not get re-dressed.
4. I have only participated in one sanctioned race, the auto-X event where my wife and I met. All other real life racing I did was illegal.
5. I hated comic books until I was in middle school. When my mom moved with me to Palo Alto (my parents had been divorced at this point) there was a comic book store on California Ave. right down the street from where I lived. She told me I would like it and I scoffed at her. Two months later I was in the store buying my first manga, Outlanders which I still own.
6. I had my first girlfriend when I was 13. My second when I was 22. I lost my virginity when I was 21.
7. I used to think being gay was a choice. I also thought there was nothing wrong with being gay. When a man approached me and asked me over to his place for a "rendezvous" I said sure. We had sex and I was bored, he could tell and asked me what was wrong. That's when I told him I had only been with girls before.
8. I didn't get my driver's license until I was 22 and even then only because I had to for a job I was working at the time. I let it expire until I turned 26 when my ex-wife (we were married at the time) found out she was pregnant.
9. When I joined Suicidegirls back in 2004 my co-worker asked me: "Why? Do you honestly think that site will get you laid?" Two years later I met my wife and told him when he and I met for the last time. He laughed.
10. I originally came up with the moniker "Dysfunctional Realities Comics" back in the late 1990's when I was in the Navy. At the time I had aspirations of becoming a comic book artist but I didn't want to work for any of the big companies. I still don't which is I why I turned my attention to webcomics.
Well there you have it, a sneak peek into the life and mind of the person you know and love as Bromopar.
