My wife has a new toy! A 1999 Mercury Cougar that we picked up for $2,000. It has a new fuel pump, new plugs and wires, new drive belt, new front brakes (new as in less than two years old) and a new battery that was purchased a month before we bought the car. It was a super deal and the owner was most awesome and let us make payments to pick it up. Last night my wife got it and today she running around like a chicken without a head trying to get insurance for it. Pics coming soon.
The apartment hunt is still moving ahead in earnest although we already found a place we really want to get. The rent is $1,400 fora two bedroom and its not far from work. In fact it would be a 15 or 20 minute ride by bicycle for me. We dropped off our applications and we were the second family to apply for two available spaces. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
