So my first day at Tesla was slightly chaotic but still less than the last time I worked there. Much to my wife's dismay I have to work from 6am to 2:30pm M-F. I say to her dismay because we are NOT morning people and she has to do the driving for the next couple of months until we can afford to get a car. I'm working in a different part of the building from last time on this really cool robot that puts together part of the battery pack. There are several of us on one robot but eventually we will all get our own robot to play with. Cutting edge technology, huge indoor secret lab, high-tech robots to work with. I'm not going to work, I'm in a comic book!
So now the real fun begins, budgeting for and buying another car. I'd rather get to work some other way but that just isn't in the cards. Its too far to bike ride and too early to take public transit so I have no other option. That's okay though because this time next year my vehicle will be powered by electricity. The planning has already begun on my own home electric conversion. I figure I'll need about 1 year (give or take), $10K and a very patient wife and I should have my own electric vehicle until I can afford a Model S.
Good time, good times.

Thank you so much. It's horrible watching people suffer like this. Every time he draws a breath it's labored and so painful looking. My condolences to you.
