Life has been completely uneventful for over a month, all I seem to do is work-eat -sleep-repeat. I have however won a pub quiz with a friend (the prize being 5 pints each), watched a few films including:
21 grams (didnt expect it to be about what it was about but really enjoyed)
You, me and Dupree (enjoyed)
In Bruges (enjoyed and funny)
Gangs of New York (a bit long but still good and Daniel Day-Lewis is an immense actor)
No distance left to run (Blur documentary/film really good you learn a lot about the band and it went hand in hand with the Alex James book)
Telstar (British film about the label that turned down The Beatles, I enjoyed it but I am not sure people would if they dont like music/music history)
Started to watch The Pacific as well which has been good so far (only one episode in) but cant see it surpassing Band of Brothers.
In other news:
I have had this lyric stuck in my head for days She'd a bruise so black they watched it fade through the full spectrum of colours. Good job I like the song.
I am off to Cardiff on Friday for a friends birthday, yay.
I am love with this song.
Its a shame The Beatles dont have more live stuff on good quality video. But I suppose they didnt really have the technology back in the day.
Hope you have a good weekend.
