Last weekend was very enjoyable went to town for the first time in two months, got very drunk and spent a bit of time quite a bit of time by myself as some of my friends disappeared to another club and I couldnt find my other mate who was still there. When I eventually did find him we drank some more and danced to all the punk-pop stuff that they played so that made him very happy, they didnt play that many songs I liked which I have come to expect. When we left we then ended up getting a taxi home with a group of women in their late 30s which, I originally was not to happy about as when we get taxis home with people we meet in the queue we normally get fucked over big time. But thankfully it was a very funny journey home, they did not fuck us over and it made the night very surreal. Unfortunately I dont remember a lot about the night as we played drinking games before we went out (pyramids), which I always get fucked over on. But it does get you drunk. I then went to the football on Saturday and spent the night recovering with fish and chips and watching the Italian Job (original).
Going out in Swansea does make me miss aspects of going out in Cardiff especially Clwb Ifor Bach (every time I go there I have the best time, they play better music and being able to walk home (sounds strange but I save loads of money)). But I suppose if I lived in Cardiff and went out in Swansea once in a while I would have the opposite opinion.
Back working again after that enforced week off, but hopefully after this week I will have finished for Christmas. It is all dependant on whether my boss gets the go ahead on a job which will mean two or three days work next week, which I am not to fussed as traditionally I have worked all around Christmas in the past so I am used to it. I am dreading going out on the works party as its on black Friday and I know for a fact everywhere is going to be rammed, plus the people I work with have said they are going to get me hammered (apparently I wont be able to walk). The thing is I dont really trust them to be honest, except my boss.
A bit of useless information for you, here are my top 5 most listened to albums (one is an EP) of the year according to last.fm:-
1. Sky Larkin - The Golden Spike (185)
2. Los Campesinos! - We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed (141)
3. Dananananaykroyd - Sissy Hits - EP (127)
4. Los Campesinos! - Hold On Now, Youngster (127)
5. Johnny Foreigner - Waited Up Til It Was Light (116)
Its Christmas so here goes:
One song doesnt really reference Christmas (well twice) that much but it is a really good song:
This song does though
Bye
