If you read my last blog, you would have seen that a quiet night down the pub got spoilt by a guy (My old headmasters son) threatening myself and my friends that if we did not leave then he would give us a kicking. When we where just minding our own business. This guy is a well know dickhead and has started fights with loads of people (he threatened my mates dad) he has also been put in hospital a few times. Luckily one of may mates managed to diffuse the situation, by saying that he knew his father. The guy is 40 years old you would think he would have grow up a bit, but that's alcohol for you.
Enough of dwelling on the past, this weekend has been brilliant. I went to see Los Campesinos! on Friday and they were really really good. I got to see a band called Islet who supported. I was quite keen to see them after hearing a few good things about them and as they don't have a myspace or any form music for sale I had only heard one of they're songs from a radio Wales session. I bought a los campesinos! 'romance is boring' t-shirt and I discovered a new drink called sailor jerry's rum which is really nice with coke it taste like vanilla cola. I did how ever get soaking as I was walking back to my friends house stepping on cracked pavement slabs making water splash all over my feet and have had cramp in my feet every since,but it didn't spoil my night.
Then on Saturday it was a friends birthday so we went out in Cardiff and went to Clwb Ifor Bach and danced to a bit of indie and jazz (which was a nice change). I drank far to much and woke up this morning still pissed, which was no surprise as i was still drinking at 3am. I discovered corona beer is horrible with out lime, girls seem to like to dance to jazz, I seem to be able to mix my drinks like never before and that i don't half run around like a kid when we walk home (My mate was filming me on our way home and i was shown this morning).
I had to take a week off work this week due to the lack of work on at the moment, which has been quite nice but as Christmas is approaching i am in need of money and it doesn't seem very likely that i will be working next week either. I was due a break though as i have only taken one day off this year up until now.
I love the sense of chaos in this song and the video is really good as well.
