Guess what???I got pierced!!!WOOT! Now I have shiny silver boogers permanently dripping from my nose. And to think people say getting your septum pierced was painful! BAH!Completely untrue! Well, for me, at least. The story goes as followed......
I picked up my friend, Dara, at 3:15 and went to try and get my car fixed--but it was already 4:00 and they told me to come back tomorrow. So then my other friend, Megan, called and she said she was going to leave in 10 minutes so she could meet us at Big Kahuna ( our favorite piercing parlor in Boca Raton). So Dara and I arrived at Big Kahuna and announced that my friend and I wanted to pierce our septums. That made my piercer, Joe, very pleased. He said that it was one of his favorite piercings to do. He also told us that chicks with septum piercings look badass.
After all our release forms were read and signed and our I.D.'s copied, he asked which one of us would be his first victim Since, I wanted to set a good example for Megan and I had been pierced by Joe several times, I raised my hand. I also wanted to go first because if I didn't then I was afraid I would chicken out.
So, he sat me down in the infamous dentist chair and prepped. He wiped some crap on the inside of my nose and made sure it was clean. Then he felt around for my "sweet spot". Once he found that , he positioned himself and I asked if he was going to do it already, and he answered yes. And before Ihad time to get nervous again, BAM! A quick sharp pain that lasted a second, and I had 2 inches of needle sticking out of my nose on each side. (Of course when he did it, I let out a little whimper of surprise and my friends thought that I was crying out in pain. But it was all over after that first second of pain and I felt great. ) He put the jewelery in my nose in exchange for the needle and screwed on the balls and I was done! Nothing I couldn't handle.
Megan was next. And let me tell you the hellish time she had........ Now, Joe WILL NOT let even his worst enemy walk out of his store without a perfect piercing. And earlier that day, Megan had gotten into a fight with a girl and had gotten punched in the face. But being the stubbrn little trooper she is, she refused to let anyone talk her out of getting pierced. But in result, her nose was a tidbit swollen so Joe had to repierce it three times. But he felt bad so he gave her a 20$ discount. suh-weeeeeeet.
So in conclusion to our piercing escapade, the overall experience was wonderful. It looks pretty cute. I shall post pitures tomorrow. But if any of you are in South Florida and want to get a well done bod mod...Get your ass to Big Kahuna!!I pimp them all the time because they do a great job!I wouldnt trust anyone else with my body. I've been pierced 3 times there and tatted once(but intend to get a 3\4 sleev.)
