San Diego is down on the Mexican border. it's about 100, maybe a 120 miles up into Northern LA where I tend to go. But just to get into LA county it's 80 or 90 I would say.
Sort of like a jaunt to Orlando from St Pete, except more hills.
The weather is awesome in San Diego. We sort of have 2 seasons. Warm and Not Quite As Warm. We get about 10 inches of rain a year, and it is a lot less humid than FL. In short the weather is all they say it is, and more!

The 'cane made a last minute turn and made for one extremely boring and uneventful day. I'm not too upset though, cause my dad and a few friends live in trailer parks.
