I know right! it was the same with Pirates of the Caribbean and countless others. The first rocked, the rest sucked. I think it goes beyond the sequel curse though; the big reason a lot of these movies fail in my eyes is because the new thing is "Epic". They try and make everything that way. Epic is cool but if a movie isn't lord of the rings, it should be subtle. Movie critics just don't get that. Tron was epic because of the subleties, Thor was good but had way to much obvious Epicallity They need to trust the audience a bit and let them figure out what is epic or not and why by themselves

Yeah the original Al is the same voice as Ion in TB. It does have an odd start to a sereis I thought but it gets interesting later on.

I actually thought the start was pretty interesting by itself but when I saw the priest "morph" into basically a vampire I thought "Okay Alucard, let's stay in our own series." Nightroad even does the same kind of chant to "activate" his abilities. In a nerdy kind of way though I started to think of what a crossover would be like. Even if TB doesn't hold a candle to Hellsing it would still be pretty badass.

I know right! Fucking vampire romance. I'll let you know if I find something but I'm betting it will take a while for these writers to grow some balls.
