Thursday: I Fart in Your General Direction!
1. Spamalot was possibly the finest piece of theater I've had the pleasure of experiencing. I got the feeling, though, that the audience members who were not a) Monty Python fans (gasp!) and/or b) Broadway buffs (less of a gasp) didn't appreciate it nearly as much as we did. We were crying with ab-defining laughter by intermission.
After the show, we jumped in a cab and travelled down to SoHo to stop by my Father's favorite French restaurant, Provence. We sat with the owner, Michele, who educated us on the wines of Languedoc while we sipped just that and devoured some of the finest Creme Brule in the city. It was like something out of a movie, and we beamed all the way home.
2. Thanks to our DVR, we had the chance to watch darling Jessica get the boot. Sad, but like I said - when the only people voting are fags and 14 year old girls, Anthony and Anwar are smooth sailing.
So much for TALENT.
3. Due to our recent 'pause' from the sweet leaf, Dan hasn't been sleeping lately. Consequently, he won't be joining my Dad and me for lunch this afternoon.
I understand, though. Socializing with the in-laws is not something one can enjoy when you're working with one hour of slumber. Even if your in-laws ARE fucking wicked awesome hecka cool.
4. Tonight, Dad drives home and it's back to the grind for yours truly.
Real update tomorrow - I got some lunch to eat!
