Tuesday: Whaadja meena haffa drinken' prollum? *hic*
1. Way too much fun was had last night.
After spending some vagina time at the lovely Aspen's place (and playing with her pet lion), I met up with my old man to grab a drink before heading over to EVR. I discovered that red wine on a literally empty stomach equals *retch*. I sprinted over to a deli and picked up a bag of soy chips and a luna bar, which held me over just dandily. After the drink, we made our way down the block for some Soulatomic action with my favorite minority, BK_Unknown. The next two hours were OFF THE HOOK - we caught ymonster trying to sneak off into the sunset and dragged him into the radio booth to party with us. Such fun was had!
After the show came to an end at 10, we met up with the always lovely freyja and her college buddies for drinks at d.b.a..
It seemed like a nice idea at the time.
Next thing I know it's 1am and Dan's shoving shots of Jack in our faces. Something was said about my surrogate motherhood for freyja and BK_Unknown's love child, and I was exchanging Polish terminology with the aforementioned school-buddies. My cheeks still hurt from the laughter. BK_Unknown declined our invitation to The Slope, but we'll get him next time.
I was consequently 36 minutes late for work this morning, and arrived to find that an impromptu meeting had been called with the head honcho - who was glaring at me as I sulked across the office. I felt bad for about three seconds, and then I remembered that I still haven't seen the raise I was promised IN SEPTEMBER. So he can take those 36 minutes and shove them up his ass.
2. Thank you, my darling Chloe, for yet ANOTHER amusing postcard. But I'm not coming to visit until I see a pair of dirty panties in my mailbox.
3. Boxing tonight should be interesting with this hangover.
4. I'mma goin' to visit my Canadian Partner in Crime in a couple of hours. *squeal*
5. Later tonight, it'll be more fun times with the likes of said canook, along with ymonster, Amina, elzig, BK_Unknown and my main man. Low key fun, but good fun nonetheless.
