Note to self: Healthy diets cause horribly offensive gas.
So I spoke to Ande (the fantabulous spinning instructor) last night about the whole shitty-Monday-night-teacher thing. Turns out she's looking for a Monday night class to teach, and she said if I email the manager of the club, they might have her teach on Mondays, too. Ande x (Mondays+Thursdays) + spinning = a very happy Girlie.
Howdoyalike THEM apples?!
THIS JUST IN: Coppering (today's shadow) is fucking FABULOUS.
In other news, I was just about to start bitching about something, but I've changed my mind. I'd like today to be a positive one. In fact, I'd like to work on this in general. Dan and I agree that I've been letting things get to me too easily lately, and it always results in my blood boiling about something ridiculous.
With that, Monty Python:
Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...
And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...
If life seems jolly rotten
There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps
Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing.
And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...
For life is quite absurd
And death's the final word
You must always face the curtain with a bow.
Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.
So always look on the bright side of death
Just before you draw your terminal breath
Life's a piece of shit
When you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true.
You'll see it's all a show
Keep 'em laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you...
How fucking profound is that?
This weekend shall be spent:
a) finishing up the move-related stuff - I still have a few more suitcases and one more box to unload.
b) exchanging a few eyeshadows at M.A.C.
c) lecturing Krrn on the importance of respecting and nurturing her temple
d) whipping up a batch of K.O.V.S.S. (kickass organic vegan spsketti sauce)
e) taking a picture of my 'Bad Cat Spray' bottle to post in my journal on Monday
f) brainstorming with Twwly
g) cuddling
h) organizing my vitamins and start taking them again
i) installing my new shower head
j) buying another snake or some type of reptile to accompany my lonely snake
Then on Sunday, I have a date. Movies, raw fish, and some hot SGNY action.
Life is good.

And DAMN I wish I was in NY. You kids seem to have all the fun. But hey, I may very well end up in that general area, depending on how the rest of the winter plays out.
