Well ALKALINE TRIO KICKED ASSSSSSSS!!! 
oh man...it was great. my friend Cristy and i drove up to Austin to go see 'em Tuesday night. The venue and ticket stubs said no cameras or video...but i thought i'd chance it and try to sneak in my camera in my big skeleton purse. Well...luckily the security person that was searching the bags was a guy...and he kinda just looked past the fact that i had a big ass bulky, mega zoom camera in there. hahahahahaha. i was happy as shit! So...Death By Stereo played first....and i personally thought they sucked donkey cock. 
After my ears stopped bleeding.... Rise Against began their set. Rise Against sounded pretty good....enjoyed their set up a good deal....i tryed not to take too many pics of them cause i didn't want to risk getting caught until Trio went on. By this point i had already pushed myself up to the front right by the stage. Before Trio went on...things started getting crazy and people were acting like they were at a PanterA concert or something. Getting all rough and stuff. i was right by the stage and some stupid hooker was trying to get hardcore with me...using her hips to try to move me and get in my spot. I was getting pretty pissed off...but when she used her elbow against my neck to move me back...my patience was all used up! It was at this point that i turned around and looked her straight in her ugly eyes, grabbed her by her throat and shoved her back into the crowd of people behind her. 
That was all it took...she left me the fuck alone after that. but i was ready to go fuckin' hostile on that bitch! WHAT THE FUCK?! don't try to play rough with me if you can't take the abuse i'm about to lash out on your ass. 
So anyway...it was time....ALKALINE TRIO took the stage. 
THe crowd went mad...and i got a lil picture happy with the cam. YEAH...the security didn't like that too much! haha. They were flashing their flashlights everywhere when i'd snap pics trying to find my ass...but i'd be ducking and hiding in the crowd. 
No one was going to keep me from seeing their whole set!
Things started getting complicated up front...and i wanted to get some video of them so i moved back a bit so i could record them without being right in front of the security and get caught. the results were pretty s-w-e-e-t. They played lots of the classic trio songs and a handful off the new album....Cristy and I both left with HUGE SMILES on our faces. 
She left with a guitar pick....i left with a new shirt-->
