Well, finally the bureaucratic SNAFU has been settled, I finally have a departure date. I'll be leaving the States this coming week and headed on a year long "vacation." A vacation from MMOs, bars, motorcycles, my house, romantic relationships, and my dog. Pretty much I'll be left with my job and some little self-exploring. I'm planning on reading lots and lots of books, which is what I did the last time I took this "hiatus." I plan on following through with the spark of interest I have with this blog, even though no one may read it. I guess it's my little diary, except anyone can read it. Lucky for me (or unlucky for you) I don't really have any secrets I feel like every divulging.

I sometimes wish for a "vacation" of sorts. Really just a chance to disconnect from society and venture into the unknown. I'm sure it ignites self-exploration like nothing else. I'm also sure I would learn to appreciate everything in my life that much more after being shipped out. You seem to have a good handle on it, and yup-- it's a great chance to catch up on all of your reading
