My sweet babies, Yam and Pecan <3
They were a bonded pair when I adopted them. They both were so sick that the shelter did not think they would survive. Put in the adoption papers as soon as I could even though I was looking to foster (as my first baby of 16 years had passed away in my arms two months prior and wasn't sure if I was ready for another companion for life as of yet then). Pecan has a woke eye due to having feline herpes, takes a daily inhaler medication (cute sounding but she does not always like it), and is immunocompromised (like me 😅). As with Yam, she loves snuggling Pecan, or Me, and belly rubs. Two years now with them and I am very lucky they choose Me <3
Then my first baby, Kittan, of 16 years (adopted her when I was 13). Got her ashes tattooed into both of my shoulder blades so she is always with me, as she used to perch and sleep there throughout her life on this Earth with me.
Those are my companions, my kiddos <3
