sorry i've been out so long, its been one disaster right after another
after battling probably the worst migraine i've had in a year, i slipped again on our f'ing driveway, which was basically a sheet of ice. fun...
so i've barely been able to sleep since that happened on friday, and i'm going to make an appot with my doc for tomorrow, but i seriously doubt he's going to give me anything for the pain. i can't take advil or anything like that, the only OTC med i can take without worrying about it ripping up my stomach lining and giving me another bleeding ulcer is tylenol, which does jack shit.
but my md said he wanted me to go through the pain clinic up here from now on for any pain related issues. only problem with that is that when i called them in early january, the earliest appointment that they had was for march 24th.
so here's to a month of not sleeping. yaaaaaay.![mad](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/mad.73f291fbf3b2.gif)

I find the competitions (feiseanna) to be too chaotic and crazy noisy to be enjoyable, but I love her performances. They usually attend the feis in Madison each year - & I was up two years ago for it. It's usually pretty well run and she's had good success there. If we do it this year, I'll let you know. [Actually the feis they're going to this weekend is also in Wisconsin, but not Madison.]
Oh, & yes, I often spend my "alone" time in deep philosophical discussions with the pets. They're not the best at it, but at least they pretend to listen to me . . .
