so my kitten, Lenny, who is 3 months old
makes this ridiculous noise when he eats. it sounds like a combination turkey gobble/meow, and he only does it when he's in his room alone (we feed him separately because he still eats kitten chow, which makes the other cats fat).
while trying to find out if this is normal kitty behavior (which, apparently, it is-also its double cute ), i stumbled upon this video, which both illustrates Lenny's gobbling sounds and almost made me die of adorableness:
(right now i only have 2 modes: 1. talk about the cuteness of my kitties and 2. stress about Thanksgiving).
also, i'm leaving Madison for my parents' house in the Chicago burbs tomorrow morning. due to the fact that if my mother finds out about me being on SG, she will defenestrate me (or possibly do something even more painful, like lecture me for hours upon hours), i probably won't be logging in while i'm there. with 6 people in the house, there are eyes everywhere, and while i'm not at all ashamed to be on SG, i would rather avoid a conflict if possible. so i'll be MIA for a couple days
finally, i wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and let you know that one of the things i'm most thankful for lately (although it certainly won't be coming out over the dinner table) is all of you and the wonderful, warm way you welcomed me into your community. For someone who has social anxiety and has a difficult time making friends, it just means the world to be welcomed with kind words by people who are as awesome as y'all are! so, thank you

Your presence will be missed, my dear! I think I was so jonesing for SG once, that I actually logged in on my Mom's laptop while I was visiting! I was all stealthy and shit, and deleted the URL history and whatnot. Never again though. Too scary! It is funny though, I'm on SG all the time at Noah's family's house. They are cool wit it. Which is nice.
Luuuuuurve you!!! And if you don't get the banana wontons at Stir Crazy in my honor, I'll cut you! Not really, but maybe!!!
