Here goes my photo journal!


Well the week has been pretty dang good.
I had three days off.
I turned off my ringer and hid my phone.
I turned up the music and opened the windows.
I had a picnic in my backyard, I played ladder golf and danced around.
I went on an amazing photo adventure and went to my favorite abandoned houses.
I got to play with my new (old) camera lens.
I Iove the work the lens and I came out with.
I drove around the country side and went to my old home town.
I ate Mexican and bought a pretty necklace.
I painted pretty glass.
I went shopping for incense, coffee and things for Mels new house.

I have been finding lovely new music that makes me happy.
I love finding new music that rocks. The new "dirty on purpose" cd is
pretty dang good.

When I was roaming around with Andy, i couldn't stop smiling.
I finally got to take the pictures I wanted to.
I got to take pictures for no one but myself.
It felt amazing.
Plus, we had a car packed full of good music.

I loved going to my home town, I loved being out in the country again.
There's nothing but me and my camera and my best friend.
I love the fact that I could scream on the top of my lungs and no one would
hear me or see me.
That is a good feeling.

Well, any ways, I suppose I will show you the images from this perfect photo adventure.
I took self portraits before and during the adventure.
I like to do so when I feel happy.

I went on a picnic in my back yard.
It was nice having the windows open again.
I couldn't stop smiling. The sun was beaming on me and the air smelt like grass.

I found a bunch of random old pics. They make me giggle.
It is funny how much life changes and how you don't think about the past..
Like when I lived in a house with 6 other people.
Oh, the past... what a funny time.

I have been writing alot.. it is weird.
I never was much for poetry. My mom and nanie are amazing at it.
I used to read their writings and note books and be in awe at what they said and how they wrote them.
Now all i can do is write. My head is filled with all these words and ideas and emotions.

The reason I have turned my ringer off for so long and hid my phone, was because I was challenged to not be distracted by anything or one.
I spent my 3 days off making art and music and being happy.

I am off to work with a smile on my face.
