Whew... 10 hours of capoeira yesterday at Cordo De Ouro's batizado. I'm beat. My voice is gone, my legs are sore and my feet are blistered! It was a great time, though!
I think I'm just going to take it easy today. Maybe get some Christmas shopping done from the comfort of my own home, thanks to the miracle of online shopping.
Tomorrow afternoon, I have to report for Day 4 of jury duty. The trial is just getting underway. Of course, I can't comment on the actual trial, but I can say that the state ought to increase their budget. The Hollywood courthouse is down to just two judges who have to handle everything. This leaves them with just under a few hours at the end of the day to do the jury trials, which means that jurors have to come back day after day to hear just little snippets at a time. It's ridiculous. I'm hoping we get it resolved quickly so I can get back to work!
