My car was broken into for the second time in a year, now. I left it with the valet at Medusa Lounge last weekend and got it back, minus my stereo, skateboard, bluetooth headset, and all of my work tools. The valet company said they would reimburse me, but so far, it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

In other news, I've been going to capoeira classes a few times a week. It's whipping me into shape, that's for sure. The first night there, I nearly lost my lunch. I am a total train wreck, but I'm learning. The movements are new to me and sometimes kind of complicated, so I don't always catch on. And the songs are in Portuguese, so it takes a little longer to learn how to sing them. ..The capoeira pants are great. They're very elastic and comfortable. They fit loose on the legs and pretty tight up top. I had to pick up some tighty whities for a little added support. Anyhow... it's a very satisfying challenge. Oh.. I forgot to mention the blisters...

This weekend my friend Rick will be in town from Kansas for what he thinks will be his first and only trip to the west coast. He's never seen the ocean, so that will be first on the to-do list, and I thought I'd give him a tour of the sets for "The Office", then we'll probably go have a few drinks somewhere in Hollywood. It'll be a whirlwind tour, but hopefully he'll leave with a general sense of what L.A. is like.
