Everyone is talking about Large Hadron Collider this week. So far, no black holes to report.
I'm currently waiting on my laundry. One of the machines was stopped for about 20 minutes due to an unbalanced load. I don't like to do laundry because it cuts into my relaxation time. Laundry isn't relaxing because in order to start a load, check it, dry it, fold it, hang it, I stop what I do and march up and down four flights of stairs each time, in addition to doing the actual laundry. Can I get an e-mail alert when they invent self-cleaning clothing?
Later this week I'm planning to attend a capoeira class and see if it's something I might like to practice. I saw a demonstration at Sunset Junction and was impressed. Since then, the idea of learning capoeira has been ruminating. Also encouraging is the fact that classes start late enough that I could usually arrive comfortably on time.
...and how about an e-mail alert when they create a black hole with the LHC? Really, I think I might just start up a website that sends out email alerts for future events that are expected or predicted to occur...
