Happy world animal day! Meet Jack, one of our rescue dogs. What you don't see in these photo's is that Jack is actually very cross eyed, we think it just makes him look cuter. 🐶
All of my dogs are rescues. There are so many sweet dogs in shelters. Sometimes they need a little bit of rehabilitation, like Jack. He was very shy in the beginning. Now that he dares to trust us he is a real teddy bear that loves to cuddle.
Moral of the story: there are probably tons of cute puppies and other young animals for sale, but an animal from the shelter can give a much more rewarding feeling. Giving an animal the life it deserves and to see it regain trust in humans again is such a beautiful thing.

Of the five dogs that I have had, the one who terribly terribly shy was also the one who was the clown and had the biggest personality when it was just us around and he felt safe.
