THE MOTHERFUCKING PIXIES. Damn that was a loud show last night. As in they had the shit turned up to not 11 but 12 loud. A couple of points in the set, due to what I assume was a combination of the sonic barrage and the heat I felt like I was going to have an epilectic seizure or pass out. Yes they rocked me that hard. I guess it doesn't help when you are standing 5 feet from the speakers, But if that is what is takes to stand 15 feet from the ultimate rock goddess/bassist/vocalist that is Kim Deal, then so it is. I need to remember to bring earplugs to shit like this if I dont want to enjoy future shows reading lips. Lyric woke up not being able to hear out of her right ear. Being hardcore is cool, being deaf not so much. One of my favorite moments was when they fucked up the first song "Bone Machine" and stopped about a third of the way in. Frank Black asked Kim if she wanted to play something "easier"...goes to show even Gods make mistakes...though I was disappointed when they didn't finish it.

It was great seeing so many SGNCers (and former...what up Angus) with special thanks going out to muggan_music for not punching me in the back of the head for dancing like a tazered perp most of the show and devlgirl666 for being nice enough to share.
