nothing to see here...got 3 ads due tomorrow for clients...busy is good...and got my check from Playboy which is cool...might be able to make studio and house rent this month
a model that was here yesterday, a middle-aged woman who is the mother of a teenage model I have used for some stuff lost her wallet somehow and came by to look around the studio and in my car which was embarrassing because my car is a mess and there was no telling what she might find in there besides her wallet. Off topic, but you know you are getting older when you think the gorgeous 40 sumthin mom is hotter than the gorgeous 18 year old daughter.
Well she couldn't find her wallet which had lots of cash, credit cards, license etc. and I was her last hope. I felt shitty cuz there is nothing in this world I hate more than losing something OR having it stolen. The fact that you don't know which it was only compounds the misery and frustration. The worst part is when human nature kicks in and makes you cast shadows of suspicion on innocent people and that is a terrible feeling. I hope she didn't suspect me, but hell she just really met me yesterday and I assume she can't rule out anything until she finds it. I don't know how many times I have lost something and tried to kick in some nonexistant psychic power to visualize where the fuck something is.
Q: Have you ever tried to go all Ms. Cleo over some lost shit?
Q: What is the most monetarily or intrinsically valuable item you have ever lost or had stolen?
A: On monetary end of things I had $600 in tip money stolen from my wallet one night in a bar a few years back. I know I am the dumbass for carrying around that kind of money while getting plastered. At least they were nice enough to just take the cash and leave the rest
Worse was when my buddy's camera gear got stolen roadtrippin around Costa Rica a few years back. We had 2 weeks worth of some primo surfing photos of our whole crew that will never be able to be replaced...pendejos
