SNOWPOCALYPSE!!!!
My god I have never seen this much snow in Portland in my life. Seriously. Not even close. I would say a good 16o to 20 inches of snow has fallen at my house and I am basically AT SEA LEVEL!!! Ok not really but I do not live in the hills around here.
There are three places around my house that really sum things up. The front door and garage have snow drifts against them that come nearly to my waist. That is a no go zone.
The bench and the pagoda that are in my front yard area are have vanished under snow.
I started watching and wondering how deep it would get on the table on my back deck. My GF keeps a bottle on there that is about 9 inches tall that she puts cigarette butts in (nasty habit.. gah..) and a few days ago I watched with casual interest as the snow piled up around the bottle. The other day the bottle disappeared. Now it is long.. long long gone, AND IT IS STILL SNOWING! I am actually starting to worry a bit now about the structural integrity of my neighbors old house/roof. Sigh.. good times.
Oh and almost forgot. About out of cat food, Snuffy is pacing all over the place and since he is on a raw food diet is not gonna be full of doubt when the food runs out. If we do not get out of this house soon and get some food we will be the Feline version of the Donner Party!!!
