Whoa... super productive today.
Got up:
Made breakfast for the girl and I.
Cleaned the cat litter box.
Loaded some laundry.
Cleaned two bathrooms including the shower (uggghhh).
Cleaned out the filter and bag in the vacumme
Ordered new bags and filters online
Ordered new comp keyboard online
Went for 20 mile bike ride
Came back made lunch for both of us.
Moved laundry to dryer
washed dishes/loaded dishwasher and ran it
washed car
cleaned garage.
swept deck and front walkway.
Whew... I am tired now.
On another note Mr. Snuffy is now fully transitioned to indoor cat. So I have my garage back now and I can safely wash up my baby car and park it in the garage again without worrying about the cat in there running off, freaking out when I drive in and/or walking all over the freshly washed auto.
I feel good today. Like all my "to do's" are gone and the rest of the weekend is mine to enjoy carefree.

I love that sense of accomplishment. Nothin' like it!
No, not every place in Denver has A/C, sad to say. Like MY apartment, for instance! It's a lovely old place, with LOTS of character, but no damned A/C. The swamp cooler does help cool things down somewhat, but, after 10 or so days in a row of 90+ degree weather, the building is just BEYOND help. Presently feeling like a baguette in a brick oven. Le pant!
You are so right re. the transitory nature of modern life in general. And this place certainly exemplifies that concept. People come...people go -- often without saying goodbye. Guess we should just get used to it...and enjoy these fleeting interactions while we can.
Congrats on the freshly domesticated Mr. Snuffy!! I trust he has a nice, big picture window to gaze out of?
