Okay so seriously, who knew looking for work was such a pain?
I really need to find a job though. I have had two job interviews so far. One I am fairly interested in and one I am not so sure how interested I am in it.
Yesterday I hit it pretty hard spamming the old resume/application out to 6 different jobs. One or Two I am really interested in so I want to see how those pan out.
The others are backup plans. Plus it never hurts to talk to people and network.
I am thinking I cannot let all this drag too close to the holiday's. If I do I will be stuck jobless until next year after the holiday season passes. I don't want to be flat broke throughout the holidays!
So back to updating unemployment stats, refining resumes, distinct cover letters, monitoring job sites, talking to recruiters, and emailing/networking with just about everyone I know.
Whew.. I am tired.
On another note they are FINALLY coming to put in my garage door opener this week. Long story short I have been trying to get one since I bought the house in April but because of the config of my garage I needed a special type that had not been released from the manufacturer yet. I have been waiting on that and then the first batch sold out before I could get one. I got one on the plate now and they will be here Thursday to set it up. YAY!! Convienence.
