Nothing much to report. Enjoying my new found freedom in unemployment. Been applying for unemployment benefits, reading/reviewing and sending in my severance package. Networking with others that were laid off, seeking out some of my friends that are recruters and hitting up other friends in the business to look out for good jobs for me.
I actually have a interview tomorrow with a company I interviewed with last year. Not my dream job but could be good. I have a good shot at it I think it will just come down to money... and how much they want to pay.
It is in downtown so parking is so spendy I would have to start bussing it. Bleechhh.... horrible commute time. But the oncall is not as much and the office environment is great.
We shall see....

I can't believe how much you're used to making. I averaged $21,000 last year and that's because I'm pulling two jobs. Jesus Christ. Obvisiouly I'm doing something wrong. But hey, I just got a raise from Safeway from $8.07 to $8.36 and Mallard Landing from $8.76 to $9.01. Sadly I've been with Safeway for 3 years in January. This month is a year with Mallard. Unions are fucking bullshit!
Take care and good luck in your search.
