To be honest, I never initially intended to lose the weight. I started a graveyard shift job, and between sleeping and working, barely made time to eat. For me, being a bit of a compulsive eater, this was a great opportunity. I kept busy, didn't focus on my problems or on food, and I was working physically all night, at least five nights a week.
I didn't even know it was happening until I had a doctor's appointment and discovered I'd lost twelve pounds in a month. Just decided to be a little more healthy and conscious about it after that; made sure I got enough to eat, etc.
I could stand to lose maybe another ten pounds now, but my body is built thick anyway, and if I get too light for my build, I look sickly and bony. I'm really pretty happy where I'm at right now, I think I'd miss my bit of tummy if it were gone; anyway, I really ought to get someone with a camera to get some new pictures of me while I'm still riding the high of feeling differently sexy, you know?

Hmmm a good news / bad news day.
Good news? Looks like my efforts at walking more, the gym and eating healthier are panning out. While I am not weighing myself I noticed a little bit more room in a pair of jeans I had not worn for a while because they were just too tight in the waistline.

Began the year in Misery and Unhappiness at ol' UPS. Little did I know I would be let go... but with a little stress endured everything turned out just about as good as I could hope.
