still getting used to living in SF, even though i've been here nearly a year. spent my whole life back east, in Vermont, NYC, and some time in Boston. can't quite get used to the west coast.

took a drive up north yesterday, past Point Reyes and Bodega Bay. i love small towns, and again, i am used to the ones in upstate NY, all crusty locals, hicks and racists. i'm fine with that. i know that. i grew up with that around me. these ones yesterday were just full of hippies. nice, happy, friendly hippies in fleece and gore-tex with yoga shops and organic co-op bakeries

i can't deal with california sometimes.
