i just got a demo in the mail from a band called "eyes like knives" and they aren't what you might expect with a name like that... they remind me of the pixies mixed with echo and the bunnymen and guitar solos you might hear on smashing pumkins louder songs.... i know that isn't the best way to describe them maybe interpol intstead of echo and the bunny men... anyway you should check them out if your into any old alternative stuff cause it's really original and good....
other than that i got my estate check and my unemployment check yesterday so i'm rich...not. i got 1497.50 from my dads estate and 203 for unemployment so i'm going to get some thai food yum... i had to give my mom 1000 for property taxes so really only got 700 but thats ok.
i got two christmas presents early from my sister bonnie cause i picked them out... i got a super tall cd/dvd shelf which induced me to clean and rearrange my room now it looks all cool as hell minus the carpet and drop ceiling and the kitty litter ick... she also got me a dj crate for my records it's so stylin after i decorated with the stickers i've been collecting for the past couple years... yesterday i was so productive at home that i went out and chilled with the ladies... ok so yeah they knitted scarves while i ate french fries and talked shit while inhaling more than my fair share of second hand smoke (cloves ick) eeehh it wasn't all that great but it was nice to not be the hermit for the night...
