The new PROJEKT X morning show was undoubtedly an absolute HIT this morning!! It went so well that we were given an extra 90 minutes today and we received a standing ovation from our boss and a handful of people out in the studio hallway.
We ended up playing over 20 song requests but we actually received twice that many. We just couldn't fit them all in. We tried though! The wheels almost fell off a couple of times due to some technical problems but we kept it together like the true amateurs that we are.
My co-host Otter had his hands full trying to answer all the emails we were getting through Myspace. We told some great stupid/offbeat news stories, told some great jokes, and played some killer music!!
The Myspace page has been pretty cool thus far too. It was actually my lovely lady's idea to start it and we gave her the title of official webmistress. Check out the page at this link. She spent hours designing the layout and making all the banners and posters and everything. She worked very very hard and it's all pretty wicked cool. We're pretty lucky to have her.
So...the rest of school is going well. Our instructor for radio commercials told me today that I was the class genius! Pretty cool! OH!!! I may have a pretty sweet internship lined up at Clear Channel Communications who, if you don't know, owns over 1200 radio stations in the US. Wish me luck!!

Funny you should stop by today....cuz I stopped by this AM to see you, I mean to hear you
I'd love to hear some "Sick Puppies" from you...but really anything on my top 10, or is it 20 bands would be great! I'm loving Paramore these days, AFI "December Underground" is one of my favorite CD's, and I'm a HUGE "the Used" fan!! Freakin' love "the Used", I could go on for hours and hours about them
