I'm in Nashville for a work trip. I'll be back Friday night, and will be totally ready go out for a little kb action and a good philosophical chat, or something. Something where I don't have to have a smile plastered on and be wearing heels all day.
You know the corporate-getting-to-know-you and "build relationships" type events? This is one of those. Tonight, we had to re-write a song and perform it, incorportating words about our jobs in there. Ick. Not fun.
Any ideas of good outdoorsy things to do in the twin cities this weekend? I need to make the most out of the last warm weekends of the year.

Sound like a kicken' time, though.
That is what I'm most afraid of. My sis is pretty rebelious now and she's only 7. When she's seventeen . . *shudder*. I just hope my dad keeps his heart medication filled up. Nothing against being your own person and all, but I'm just finally now finishing my fights with my parents. I'm not sure if I can handle the ones I know she'll start.
Spam is the bestest. I've been to the museum and it is awesome. I actually used to live just down the freeway from there in Albert Lea. I even have a poster from when they made a spam pulltab game at a lottery company I used to work for.
You should've made your way down to the CC last Saturday then! Wonderful south Minneapolis on a crisp fall day is tough to beat. Okay, yes, I'm one of the unofficial pimps of SGTC (to get you out, not turn you out, silly).
I hope Nashville was all the corporate world brainwashers had it cracked up to be!!!
