Eventful weekend was eventful. Yesterday I went to the Splash Country waterpark in Pigeon Forge with my best friend, where I wore white swimming trunks and worried the entire time that people could see my junk. I also got sunburns in the weirdest shapes on my back and shoulders.
Also while down there, we stopped at a few places and I picked up some swag:
A Japanese Jaws t-shirt, alligator and kangaroo jerky (I had already eaten the boar by the time I took this), and a Barbarella button to add to the collection that's accumulating on my laptop bag. We also hit up an arcade where an epic air hockey match took place.
Saturday was my older brother's birthday, and his bandmates wanted to throw a surprise party for him. I drove over there with our oldest brother to hide with a bunch of people in the basement until he showed up. It was pretty great.
My brother's the one on the left. The bearded dude in shadow over his shoulder is our oldest brother. We're...not really alike at all, aside from all of us being kind of awkward and hermit-like.
Now I'm buckling down and finishing the colors on chapter 3 of Other Sleep. Here's the page I just finished, of a very ragged looking Ninel in front of her bathroom mirror:
