Goddamn it's been a long ass time since I've updated this thing (with many appologies, I might add). I've been pretty busy with school stuff lately, so I've been more or less distracted from my journal writing. I am a little worried about that, however. My loans, for whatever reason, still have not gone through and my tuition is due in like 3 weeks. Not only that, but I also have rent to pay, books to buy and other intangibles I have to pay for. 'Tis a weight on the soul indeed.
Starting to wind down at the jobs (again) and people are seriously starting to get all "don't leave" on me again. I don't mind though because it's nice to feel wanted. However, I think it's kind of selfish of them to request that of me. Especially since Pharmaceutical Research brings in far better money than bartending. I'll still miss all my regulars though, and I like the idea of not having to use my credit cards because I got so much in the way of tip money.
I'm going to vegas again this weekend for some bowling tournament. Granted, I LOVE vegas, but I don't really like competitive bowling simply because I like it better as a recreational activity. I much prefer bowling wtih a bunch of my friends than winning a thousand dollars bowling with a buch of stiffs that take the GAME way too seriously (bowling isn't a sport dammit!). Anyhow, I'm there because the team wanted someone who can throw strikes, so they got me (I'm what a lot of people would consider a good bowler...I average about 217 a game). In any event, I'm sill going to vegas with a few friends and hell, maybe I'll win some money (which will be nice). I look forward to exploring the hedonist in me

Ohhhh yeah, The Bouncing Souls baby!! I love those guys! Easily some of the coolest, down to earth people to meet and their music is just fucking awesome. You're jealous...I know you are
