So this being the very last day of '06, I was just feeling a little introspective. The year was very much a mixed bag of goodness and supreme shit. Managed to finish my first year at the university with a decent GPA, which suprised me since I got off to such a bad start. Went back to bartending during the summer to pay off my loans a bit and went back to school with a full ride scholarship (take it from me, it's awesome just to be able to brag to others that I go to school FOR FREE!). Starting my second year though, I almost lost the money because of my grades. I got a bit ahead of myself and thought I could handle 5 upper division chemistry courses. Biggest mistake of my life. Between work and school, I did nothing else (not even sleep). I've been missing, in large part, from the SG community and I feel I do miss people here an aweful lot. I mean shit, I haven't been on the SG radio boards for almost two years now. Far too long if you ask me (considering I met most people I know here on the SG radio boards). Anyhow, the past year wasn't all terrible. Somehow in the mayhem, I managed to get myself a girlfriend. She's the sweetest thing I've ever met and she makes giddy like a little schoolgirl. So that's pretty much it. Although I've left out a lot about what happend in the year (cuz who the hell wants to read about that?) it's been a really boring year, but I have to say, it was pretty good. Hopefully '07 will be an even better one. I know it's gonna start off with a bang. Gonna go to my buddy's party tonight, then I'm gonna head off to Pasadena and throw tortillas at the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Honor Band (hey, I marched that infernal parade for 3 years...I've earned my dues )
