Wow, it's been a long time. I'm still alive people, it's okay
So the school year is finally over and I've officially got one year to go until my ass graduates. It's uncertain though, whether or not I'm going to minor in something and strech out my university time another year. If I decide I want to finish after next year, my class load would be horrendous. Mind you, the number of classes wouldn't be bad, it's the classes I would have to take that would kill me (RNA evolution, Envoronmental Chemistry, Biophysical Chem, Lab after Lab after Lab.....etc. You get the point). I have an appointment with my academic advisor 1st week of August to talk it over.
Finals have come and gone and I think they went okay. Needless to say, after all my finals and me moving all my shit back to my house in LA, I'm pretty wiped. It's astonishing how much I miss things like eating homecooked meals (regularly), fresh laundry, and a full night's sleep. Anyhow, I don't recall ever spending that much time studying during the entire year. Although I was incredibly stressed out to the point that some of my hair was falling out, there was a complete satisfaction with knowing that I can study for pretty much a week straight and come out alive. Also, I got really close to a few people (4 really beautiful women, might I add) that I studied with. Unfortunately, two of them were married, the other one has a boyfriend, and the last one is far too young for my blood. I've learned to take people as they are, however, and I'm just glad that I have people to hang around again.
Just to update what's in store for the summer, I've gotten my old job back. I am a bartender once again, and I'm just excited to get back behind the bar. I don't even care that I've gotten some pretty slow shifts. It's just something to occupy my mind (last summer, when I had nothing to do, I kind of went crazy and emo *shudder*). I don't think I even need to mention that I'm really excited to get some R&R while I can. I'm slated to grab some beers and watch some World Cuppage tommorrow with friends I haven't seen since I moved away to the university. I'm also gonna start exercising since I've picked up a few pounds over the year and I'm gonna see if I can tackle my golf swing. Other than that, I'm just gonna be lazy and maybe reroof my garage with my old man. Anyhow, that's all I have to say about that. Oh and by the way, I'm thinking of travelling a little bit. Who wants a visit from me?!

Hope this dose of radioactive fairydust from the toxic land of the undead was enough to keep you satisfied until the next mutation.
