It's been raining lately.
Late at night or very early in the mornings.
Beautiful, cooling rain with big drops that sting your face and make you try to blink even though your eyes a shut. The sound on the tin roof adds a melodic undertone to the crack of lightning and roll of thunder.
The ants have been on the move to higher ground. Other insects are blooming from their breeding cycle. My palm trees are erecting their floral blooms. All in just a day or two of the downpours.
I hope it continues.

Interesting, I have never heard of a 'chello' nor am I familiar with it being used in the marching band genre.
