It just struck me that I'm developing a slight discoloration of the skin on my right index and middle finger. It's funny how this is the first I've noticed of negative effects after a good many years of smoking. My health, skin color, lung capacity, and everything smokers complain about is still as good as it was back in high school, but I'm developing smoker's fingers. ... Maybe I should just start holding my cigarettes with my left hand while the discoloration disappears from my right hand? What a practical solution.
In other news, despite having been a member for just a little bit more than a day, I already feel very welcome here. People on the boards seem friendly enough, I've had three people drop in randomly to my page and welcome me aboard, and the site is so navigation-friendly it almost feels like I've been here for ages. Like so many other people, I'm a bit peeved at how Video Podcasts aren't working, but hey - patience is a virtue.
That said, having browsed some of the excellent photography on the site, I've grown pretty interested in picking up that artform again. I shouldn't let the 35,000 SEK (that's about 5,000 US dollars for those of you across the pond) that I spent on the camera and equipment go to waste. These past months have been way too focused on using my creative urges in writing and music, and way too little when it comes to photography.
