So I am sitting in class taking part in a discussion about rap music by soldiers in Iraq. It's fairly interesting but Ihave heard all these people's views on the war at least twice a week for the last six weeks and it's getting old. But at least I get to write a paper on Pin-Up girls. This is the first paper that I have gotten to write on something that I liked in a long time.
I am about finished with this class. I have to write a paper and present it to the class on Thursday and then I'm done, off to Lbst 401, Knowledge in Arts and Sciences. I am counting the days till August 9th. My day of freedom! I am more seriously looking for a job. I would like to stay with Disney, but am looking into other possibilities. When you don't know what you want, it opens up alot of doors, cause I don't know what I don't want (for the most part) yet!
My work schedule is so messed up next week, and my scheduler is retarded. Despite the fact that I am full time and I have seniority which should mean I can pull whatever shifts I want, it apparently means that I get whatever they want to give me, and the new-hires that have been there for only a week get priority over me because they said they would do overtime, even though they ask to get off early (basically to work only 8 hours) almost everyday and the leads in the area want to get rid of their overtime as well.
Aside from scheduling being retarded, it being hotter than sin (and the fact that I have had mild heat stroke two days in a row now), work is going well. If they could get my schedule right I would be one happy camper.
Nementh and I have been fairly busy over the weekends. It's been fun, but I'm starting to stress about school so it takes away from the fun though. Oh we saw Ratatouille, it really was fantastic. Nementh was giving me a hard time about going, but he ended up laughing harder than I was. The only bad part was the fact that there was some little girl sitting behind me and babbling the last half of the movie, along with rocking my seat. The best part was when I turned around (twice) to see what the hell was going on, was that she was climbing on the back of my chair, so when I looked up to see what was happening I was looking at her. I was going to yell at the mom, you know something about if you're going to bring your kids to the movies, teach them how to behave, and if they don't behave leave, but I wanted to wait till the movie was over so I could actually try to watch it, but they left before the credits were through. Stupid parents I was going to ask for my $5 back!

nementh:
Maybe you'd be less stressed about school if you paid attention in class instead of posting on SG.
