Monday... Well, this weekend was great. The prom was good. Everyone I met was real nice. The drive was pretty decent. I only really messed up twice on the drive up. The first time I headed us in the wrong direction for about.... 45 minutes. The second time we got lost in downtown Toronto, which wasn't ENTIRELY my fault. The expressway we were supposed to go on was closed.
I really like Toronto too, that was the first time I'd ever been in a city that size. It was quite an experience really. The first thing that really got to me was that everything was metric. Now, don't get me wrong I love the metric system, but being from the US, I'm not really used to dealing with it.
Secondly, the streets... there are no lines on the streets really there.. and only the main streets are well labeled.
Also, we arrived at about the worst time I think, midnight on a saturday. Everyone was everywhere... it was madness, so that stressed me out.
The hotel was an interesting situation. I think I had actually one of the more comfortable spots... in front of the door. I feel bad for Tatum, she had to sleep half-way in the closet. The track for the door was right in her shoulderblades all night.
The brunch on Sunday was really cool. Naturally I got lost again down town... but it wasn't bad Zarina helped us out a ton... in fact she found us and took us around. We ate at a cool coffeeshop/diner deal...
After that Tatum and I began our 10 hour trip back to her parents house, which was really uneventful. That doesn't mean it was bad though, I didn't get us lost again haha.
After we got back to her parents I repacked my stuff back into my car, said my goodbyes, and headed back home.
I got back home around 1, and went to bed at 2, I fell right asleep.. I am tired as hell today, but I consider it worth it.
So, concluding I'll say that aside from parking Toronto is a great city, it has this incredible charm about it. It seems like a very comfortable place.
I'll end this here, but I do want to say thank you to everyone involved.
Also, I'm sorry if this post is... random and only semi-sensible, I'm very tired.

Nice to see you guys again in Toronto. I still can't believe how much you guys drove and how tired you must be now!
Glad you made it though. You guys should definitely organize an event in IN so you don't have to drive for once. ![wink](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/wink.6a5555b139e7.gif)
