now that the first week of september is over i can no longer deny that the month has, indeed, started and soon so will school. there are so many decisions to be made; in the next few weeks, will i ride my bike with my friends down to san diego or will i head to a cabin in california with my mom and my dog for a month of meditation, yoga, hiking and soul-searching? or will i skip the travels altogether and hold out for one more fire run, seeing as i've been having firefighting dreams for the last two weeks? will i take classes this term and work, saving for a trip to visit my sister in panama in the spring? or will i invest in some "me" time, traveling and exploring this term instead of taking classes?
it's so overwhelming having all of these decisions to make, but at the same time it's exciting that i have such a plethora of options at my feet. never before have i felt like so many different things were possible, like, as the saying goes, the world were my oyster.
i am so ready.

The world really is your oyster. Whatever you decide to do I'm sure will be the right decision. Life has a funny way of putting different paths at our feet. But you come to realize as you get older there really isn't any right path or wrong path to go down. You just got to choose which one would fulfill your needs the most. ![smile](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/smile.0d0a8d99a741.gif)
