Ok so holy shit this has been a fucked up couple of weeks...a mad emotional roller coaster.
First, I went to a two day school to train myself and my horse for the Super Bowl. So, this bad ass bombproof rodeo horse has a huge attitude problem and no fear. After about three hours, he decides he is not working anymore and litterally runs all over. Wherever he wants and crashes into anything. But I fought through it and with him and got some good training. Very disappointing because he will not work out and I won't be able to use him.
My little brother came into town and it was good to see him. I miss the kid. I'm not so sure about his girlfriend, but she helped out and we all had fun.
While my little brother was here, my uncle who has been fighting cancer and was on and off a ventilator for a little slipped into a semi-coma and was barely alive.
We celebrated both my brother's and my baby's mom's birthday on Sunday and it was good times. Pinatas, beer, and mad laughs. I love my family. My grandma was throwing cake on all of us. Funny as hell!!
Monday, my brother went left and went back to Georgia. I will miss him. I miss him and my nephew..they are good folks. My nephew is kind of a pain in the ass because he is living with his fucking crazy ass mother and I don't think she is treating him right. But he is funny and he and my little one have a great time together.
Tuesday, my uncle died. He was my godfather and was an excellent person. He always treated us well and we used to ride bikes together. I love him very much and will miss him. Rest In Peace Uncle Jimmy.
And today, I bought another horse. His name will be "Harley James." after my uncle. He was always very supportive of my career and I think it will be a fitting tribute to him. I pick him upon Saturday. He's all black, and is a 12 yr old Fresian/Quarter Horse mix. My fingers are crossed that he will work.
And last but not least, this coming Sunday I turn 30. So, we will be having a blow out on Saturday at Courigan's in St. Pete. I can't wait to just sit back, have a few beers, and see some friends I haven't seen in a while. Good times.
So that's that. sorry I haven't posted in a while. I'll try to put a pic or two of the horse on here, if I can't they will be in my pics section.
Fair winds!!
