Ok, so I haven't posted in forever..Don't kill me please. Hope you didn't miss me too much.. Ha!
Anyhow, all has been well with me. Work has been insane. People getting hurt, shooting people, just craziness. So I'm going to take this post to talk to you all about something very near and dear to my heart and that is your mental stability.
Times are tough. and the tough thing is that even with the upcoming elections it doesn't look like there is any light at the end of the tunnel. We are in for a rough few years. So, I want to tell you all that if you are feeling down, low, or stressed out please do something about it before it gets out of hand and you do something you wouldn't normally do. The most comon symptoms of stress, are headaches, stomach problems, restlessness, shortness of breath, and tightness in your chest. Stress in and of itself can cause physical illness and heart problems later. They also lead to depression and that is when things get really nasty. The most common symptoms of depression are a lack of energy, lack of appetite, feelings of loneliness, lack of intrest in things that used to interest you. Distancing yourself from family and friends is also a big one. Sometimes it feels like there is no way out but this is not true. With the right help anyone can get the help they need.
There comes a time in everyone's life when a little therapy can do a ton of good. I've been to it, lots of my friends have and it is worth it!! IF money is an issue please contact me and I can point you in the right direction. Problem is, a lot of people don't seek it until they feel it's too late, but it's never too late. So, please reach out and talk to someone. There is light at the end of the tunnel, and we can get through it. Sometimes all we need is an ear and a little friendly advice.
So, that's all I have to say for now. I'm doing fine, but I am seeing a lot of other people aren't. I have had more suicidal subjects in the past month than I can remember. Even a good friend of mine. We all struggle, we are all human. But we can survive and be happy.
I love you all!
Fair winds and following seas!
