It's nearing the end of the year and I was thinking of the past year and needed to get thoughts out of my head. Overall, I feel largely unaccomplished with the last year. No, I'm not sad or disappointed. Just hoping that it can help spur greater completion in the next year. So here are some wins and losses
Wins: completion of a LARGE work project, established a little workshop at home, got rid of a dilapidated fence, helped a couple folks through some serious challenges, did a couple phootshoots, started a web development course, made some friends
Losses: after nearly 5 months my new fence isn't complete, refinishing and repainting the walls is incomplete, new flooring is not started, shelving project is incomplete, did not meet all fitness goals (no loss though), grew apart from some friends, didn't get all motorcycles maintenance done
Things that will help in the new year: improved workshop will help with the house projects. My work has a strength and conditioning coach somewhat consistently every 3 months and he has a loosely tailored plan for me. A couple small pay raises this year will help fund building supplies for the house projects.
Things I'd like to get done this next year: finish 2-3 house projects (1: fence, 2: walls and shelving, 3: floors, 4: refinish kitchen cabinets, 5: replace windows), fitness - reduce body fat primarily, get 3-4 photoshoots in, get my other bike fixed and on the road.
I'm taking accountability buddy applications now 😜
