I've been in my house for just over a year now. It's my first house and it needed a little more TLC than expected. The first two projects last summer were new gutters and new sliding door. This summer, it's redoing the fence. I started tearing out the old fence today... in 98F/37C 🥵🥵🥵 As I worked to remove this section, I figured someone a bit more handy than I am might be able to easily repurpose the wood, so I threw it on FB market for free. Within an hour I have a crew of seven lined up to pull out the rest of it in the morning! I'll be able to work on resetting the poles soon. With prices of lumber and working solo, I'll be rebuilding it one section at a time. First section's wood gets here Monday. Once that's done, it's all inside work.
If anyone is awesome at home decor, I'd love to hear ideas. Next big things are the kitchen, paint (likely complete re-drywall), and floors by myself. I also need to replace some windows and might redo the bathrooms, but I'm not doing that work.
