Well, crap.

a friend of mine & myself, we used to stop by that shop once a night a week around midnight. apparently, she had hear that at midnight, they re-open. so we'd stop every now & again. only once have i ever felt an inkling that something out of the ordinary may occur after dark there. it was about 1 in the morning & we walked up to the door & through the window..a candle was burning. when we knocked, the candle just blew right out & we heard something fall. we waited around a few minutes (like idiots!) & nothing else happened. i haven't been back over there since the storm. do you know if they are even open anymore (daylight hours of course *cough*).

350 female graduates at my Uni (job) last week. Five with short hair. None with dreads or extensions. None with shaved heads. None with funky hair color. None with visible tattoos and multiple piercings.
And only a handful (meaning you could probably count on two hands) of minorities.
I swear, I'm at STEPFORD University. I'm going to have nightmares.
GODS I miss Smith College.

Work has been HELL. Everyone is tired, faculty, staff, students. It was the hardest semester we've had, and now everybody has to jump right into the special condensed term and meet everyday for classes to make up for the Katrina interruption.
