It's been a good day. Two promising job interviews for this former theater majors to entertain tables at a resteraunt (be a watier). Made the fab four in Sims 2(Paul looks so much like himself that it's kind of strange) and relaxed, decided to skip open mic and relax. Well, a friend of mine, a guy I respect a lot, called me up to back him up at open mic, so I reconsidered. So first I did my set, and my voice was on point. Did Paranoid Android for my friend, did it like I used to do too. I was standing, stomping my foot, bending all around, I was me again. The music is taking me over like it used to. I did an original song, then finished off with Stevie Wonder. That song MasterBlaster, ooo, and that was sweet. I hit that high C with no falsetto everytime, fuking, like butter. Then Joel(the respected guy) and I did Tenacious D, Kielbasa Sausage. Then he sang one of my songs, a song called 'My Muse' that I wrote a few years back. That song is responsible for getting him his wife. When he first met Ella he was singing that song at a party with me. The coolest thing in the world is someone being able to sing Along with one of your songs. But to actually be able to perform it, is amazing. Then we closed it out with the Beatles, 'Why Don't We Do It in the Road'. Came home, really connected with a female friend of mine, the set up to what's going to be an incredible friendship.
To top it all off my favorite member of this site sent me a friend request. Ari did. And yes, I find this to be an appropriate occasion to brag, because, well, just look at her profile, and then look at her pictures. Beutiful girl and attractive to boot.
Today makes up for monday when I blew $90 on Texas Hold 'Em at the casino.
