This is why I don't keep journals. Short attention span. Well, okay, I do have a short attention span, but in this case, it's more... when I get home from work, I'm too tired to want to write down things... I want to escape reality, not re-hash it. Also, when the girlfriend(now ex-girlfriend) catches you doing updates on a site like this, you get a smack upside the head. Actually, that shoulda been a sign it wasn't gonna be long-term right there... I can't deal with jealousy.
Anyway... so I'm still working for the same company, but not in the same position. Finally got the job I trained for, 6 years ago now, a real computer tech. Making jack squat. I hate economics. But the job is fun, my boss uses the term "Stick it up her pooper" very frequently(ie. He's a good boss. Funny as hell.) and my hours are decent.
Question. How is it my contact lenses get dry just after I get out of a steaming shower? I'm very angry at physics lately. They're not helping me out at all.
It's currently snowing out. Screw that noise. I wanted to go for a run after work, but I'm not so dedicated I'll run in the snow. The running shoes are starting to look lonely in their little corner though...
Let's see... in the geek world, my computer blew up and I was FORCED, at gun point of course, to spend $2500 building a new one. Complete coincidence Elder Scrolls: Oblivion just came out. It rocks btw. So... Ramen City, here I come! Woo.
